Review on 🔧 13-Piece Mainpoint Star Torx Bit Socket Set - T8 to T70, CRV Material, 1/2", 3/8", 1/4" Drive by Jake Larson

Torx bit set arrived on time in a very nice plastic box. I ordered this kit because I needed a T70 socket to remove the diff drain plug on my girlfriend's Subaru, so figured that since I'm buying a socket I might as well look for a full kit. I found this at Revain and figured you can't go wrong at the price. Looking at the pieces, I noticed that they were slightly rounded on the edges, but I thought they were all like that. When I finally used it to remove the bolt, I noticed that the bushing was not sitting flush in the bolt groove and wobbled a bit. When I finally unscrewed the bolt, the bushing cracked and the bolt ripped off. I ended up having to buy a new drain plug and also bought a new T70 torx bit from another company and their design was better so the socket was flush with the bolt and there was no wobble. I would not recommend this product if you use a Torx T70, especially if you need it to remove a fairly tight diff screw.
