This is actually the third pair we've bought. We bought 2 pairs for our kids (4 and 7 years old) about 18 months ago. They work great, and having multiple colors to choose from makes it easy to tell which pair goes with which and squash any arguments before they even begin! I would recommend getting some extra headphone cables as the original cables broke after about a year of use. We were able to get 4 packs for about $10 from another Amazon seller and they worked fine (I now keep a few spares in my bag when we travel just in case). My kids love that you can plug in headphones. So in a rare moment of collaboration, they can hear/see something together, and I'll still have my peace of mind!
