Review on πŸ”§ JOUNJIP Plastic Welding Kit for Bumper and Kayak Repairs - 2 Welder Tips, 2 Wire Mesh, 20 Black Plastic Rods, 80W Iron by Josh Clifton

Very economical DIY plastic welder (not for kids)

This is a very inexpensive plastic welder for repairing cracked bumpers or repairing other plastic parts. I checked other offers from similar welders and noticed that people complained that the tip was bent, but there was no need to press it that hard. Just be patient and let the welder heat up and melt the plastic and then smooth it out. Women. Why pay 3-4 times more for a basic plastic welder if you don't work in an auto repair shop and don't need to use it every day? It took a few minutes to heat up at first (5 minutes?)... and only once after a while did I stop for a minute to heat it up again when it wasn't melting the plastic that quickly. I think you need to buy a $100 higher wattage plastic welder if you want to shave a few minutes off your wait time. Overall I am very happy with this welder and how well it works for me. That saves me a lot of money!
