I received this unit about a week ago. I tried it on Ubuntu and it is very easy to use (plug and play). I'm pretty sure it's pretty easy to use on many other operating systems as well. As far as I can tell, the speed is very good. I've seen up to 70Mbps (when uploading and about the same when uploading) which is in line with what my ISP allows me. This means multiple HD movies can be streamed simultaneously. This is more than sufficient for normal consumer use. There was one main thing I didn't like, and that was that it didn't work with my particular operating system (which they don't guarantee at all). The device has proprietary firmware and my operating system doesn't like proprietary firmware. So basically I can't use it in my particular circumstances. I then wrote a review about my issue and was offered a FULL REFUND WITH NO RETURN OF THE DEVICE! Also, they went out of their way to help me find a product (not their product) that would work with my operating system. In my experience you can rest assured that you will NOT waste your money if you buy this product because either you are happy with it or they will do their best to solve your problem! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
