Powered by Dell Inspiron running Linux Mint 19.2

I'm new to Linux installation but was able to install Linux Mint 19.2 on an 11 year old Dell Inspiron. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to recognize the Wi-Fi card, even after doing a lot of research and trying many different options. I decided to try a USB wireless adapter to fix my internet connection issues. I went through many different reviews and finally settled on the Panda 300Mbps Wireless USB Adapter. I received it 1 day after ordering. I plugged it in while the computer was still onโ€ฆ

Not Optimal for Kali Linux

If you are not planning to use this for Linux/Kali Linux then this review may not be for you. Yes the adapter works as advertised and yes it works on multiple operating systems as advertised but if you are considering purchasing please note that the drive is not compatible with Aircrack and similar offshoots. It does not allow you to control networks and network frequencies. The card also didn't work for a while and didn't show up on my operating system, but knowing I haven't used the card "enโ€ฆ

The Panda 300Mbps WiFi Adapter works great with Linux.

I've been suffering from poor WiFi performance on my remote Linux system for about two years. I've tried all the usual means like different adapters, messing around with installing drivers, writing cron scripts to reset keep alive, whatever. Sometimes I could get something working for a couple of weeks, and then just when I thought everything was going well, the connection would start to drop again. it worked with linux. I found a Panda 300Mbps adapter and decided to give it a try. I wasโ€ฆ

Fixed WiFi on my IdeaPad 13 running Ubuntu 18.04

I'm a software developer. I learned Linux about 14 years ago, starting with Gentoo. I'm very capable of getting even the worst software to work. When it comes to Wi-Fi cards, many of them, I swear, were NOT specifically designed to work with Linux. However, this worked immediately on my Ubuntu laptop, my Debian 9 (Stretch) desktop and my Windows desktop. No fiddling with ndiswrapper and the like. I'll probably stock up on some of these before they go away. This USB drive is exactly pauo5, which

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I received this unit about a week ago. I tried it on Ubuntu and it is very easy to use (plug and play). I'm pretty sure it's pretty easy to use on many other operating systems as well. As far as I can tell, the speed is very good. I've seen up to 70Mbps (when uploading and about the same when uploading) which is in line with what my ISP allows me. This means multiple HD movies can be streamed simultaneously. This is more than sufficient for normal consumer use. There was one main thing I didn't

Great product, don't listen to the noobs.

I read many reviews about this product and knocked here. Does it have the same range as my ALFA? Of course not, but it shouldn't be. It does exactly as advertised. That it doesn't run on a specific operating system sucks. If you really know how to use a computer, you can install all the necessary drivers. Although in most cases there is no need to install any special or additional drivers. The guy who said this doesn't work with Kali is a noob and should leave the LINUX comments to REAL usersโ€ฆ

Not for Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, and Mint)

I'm writing this review so others can benefit and not fall into the same trap as me. Here's what happened: 1. I bought this device a few days ago to use with my Ubuntu laptop. It arrived on time, thanks Revain for the fast shipping.2. In the kit there is a floppy disk with drivers and a few pages of manual and instructions: a. This manual is for Windows and Mac systems only.b. For Linux, it mentions that the device is plug and play (it will be installed automatically). c. The instructions andโ€ฆ

Worked on 2 Windows 10 PCs both updated from Windows 8

We recently brought home 2 working Lenovo PCs that are 2 years old and both updated to Windows 10 with Windows 8. There is no built-in WiFi. So we needed Wi-Fi adapters to connect at home without running cables everywhere. After researching various WLAN adapters on the Internet, it turned out that many of them had problems with Windows 10. So I thought it would be best to get an adapter in the middle price segment and from a well-known brand. So I originally bought 2 Netgear AC600 mini adapters
