Review on ๐Ÿš˜ High-Performance Moog K8739T Idler Arm for Enhanced Vehicle Handling by Brian Kumar

Good replacement part for my Ford F-150 tensioner arm

I have noticed vibration in the front of my 2000 Ford F150 7700 at highway speeds. It felt like the wheel was out of balance. The car had about 140,000 miles. When moving the linkage back and forth, I noticed some play in the tensioner arm. Replaced the intermediate arm with this Moog replacement and streamlined the front end and my "balance" issues at 65-75 mph were gone. The steering was nice and tight. I had already replaced the lower ball joints which were also loose. The upper arms will be next, although they won't be used as much as the lower ball joints or intermediate arm. Another way to diagnose this problem is to jack up just the passenger side, grab the wheel and move it from side to side. You can see the intermediate arm wiggle back and forth as it wears and you will notice the wheel moving. When installing grease fittings, remember that they just need to be tight, they don't need to go all the way to the bottom of the flange. Some people will twist them and try to insert them "all the way".
