This solved the problem and just installed

It was perfect for my 03 f150 fx4 with 5.4 liter engine. My truck has only done 41,000 miles and I noticed a thud when turning the steering wheel while stationary. This solved the problem and installed easily. The presence of a ball separator (fork for brine) greatly facilitates the work. Be sure to measure the distance between the two bolts on the intermediate arm on your old one. That's 2.5 inches. So far I'm satisfied.

Fits perfectly on my f150 2000 2wd

The steering wheel had a lot of play, at first I thought it was the tie rods. I replaced the tension arm a little over a year ago, so I didn't think it could be that. When I went through and replaced everything else, it turned out to be a cocking lever after all. I replaced it with this one and my truck runs straight again. That's what I get when I try to save a buck or two, you get what you pay for. I hope this lasts longer than a year.

Bigger Heads/Balls: Replacement

Joints are larger than my original parts, that must be one of the problems it solves by giving more surface area for the balls. However, the threaded shank is the right size, so don't worry about mounting the center link. The oiler holes are unthreaded, you can use the fitting to thread yourself, or you can thread, I just used the fitting, although it will let your neighbors know what words you can yell in public.

The quality/fit is perfect.

Ideal for a 1998 F150 2wd XL. Easy to replace. Remove pin, remove nut, remove two bolts, use pickle fork. Then install a new one. Bolts up to 147 ft/lbs first, then 66 ft/lbs for nuts. Don't forget the rubber sleeve (included). Make sure the nut lines up with the hole and never backs out. Install the pen. Then LUBRICATE. Also, do not overtighten the new grease fittings. Cozy is all they need (no need to sit all the way). READY! Lubricate every 2-4 thousand. Almost every oil change. FYI: My oldโ€ฆ

The car was in good condition but stood still for about a year.

I saved so much money buying these and making them myself. The dealer charged me over $2,000 to replace all the tie rod ends, ball joints and intermediate arm. It was a 2001 F-150 that I bought for about $3,800 with under 90,000 miles. So. The car was in good condition but stood for about a year and a half. I thought I was getting something decent and affordable but when I saw the Ford dealer's offer I was so upset. Especially after replacing all mufflers due to rust. I spent about $400 onโ€ฆ

Good replacement part for my Ford F-150 tensioner arm

I have noticed vibration in the front of my 2000 Ford F150 7700 at highway speeds. It felt like the wheel was out of balance. The car had about 140,000 miles. When moving the linkage back and forth, I noticed some play in the tensioner arm. Replaced the intermediate arm with this Moog replacement and streamlined the front end and my "balance" issues at 65-75 mph were gone. The steering was nice and tight.
