Does not fit the hardcover journal

The cover I received is not the right size.The back cover inserts just fine, but the leather cover only reaches 2/3 of the way across the front of the journal.
It might work for the super thin paper moleskin but not the hard cover.

Pros

If you own a moleskine notebook do yourself and notebook a huge favor and get this cover!

Cons

It is a gift for Christmas, so I can only rate how looks and hope it works for the person.

Simple...durable....perfect for your moleskin journal. I have a cloth cover journal that i was always throwing around. This cover was simply perfect.

I bought it as a gift for my husband to use on his Moleskin. He loves it. It''s a little rustic and is very sturdy. The elastic band works beautifully.
