Our kitchen, like many others, has a bowl that fits sponges, washcloths, brushes and dish sponges. Water accumulates in the bowl over time, which must be drained, and then washed. and put it back on the counter. I decided to build a basin that would go straight to the sewer. I bought various sizes of diamond hole saws and drilled a hole for the drain and a few eight inches for the drain to go into the bowl. They worked great (see attached picture). I only gave an average durability rating because I took a cut and a cut isn't enough for a rating. I'll add a little looks brand new.
