I was wary because I've never drilled holes in concrete. I bought a Champ ground anchor and needed a 3 1/2" x 4" hole plus a deep hole. This bit has been impressively packaged in individual cases. The included lock washer had to be omitted in my case as it did not allow the screw to secure the pilot jet. I used a 1/2 inch punch I had. I started the hole without the hammer effect. After about 3/4 inch I activated the hammer. I did not seek excessive optimism, and it took me a long time to complete this mission. You don't want to overheat the drill or burn the drill. I poured water over it and yes it got dirty. I unfolded the front panel. I don't know if the drill bit will do for another hole of this size, but I would feel confident drilling some concrete blocks. deeper penetration. Happy with the purchase, thank you!
