Of the available products, this product had the fewest defects. And the bottom plate is solid. So that's a plus. Others I looked at before buying looked cheap. However - the picture is a bit deceptive - there is only one riser, not two as shown in the picture. Although listed for 2.5 gallons, the riser is at least 50% taller. You have to physically cut it in half to keep the tube in the water and below the top of the tank. Will i buy it again? Naturally. I knew what I was buying and (with modifications) it does what I need.
