Poorly designed and extremely underperforming

Where to start? Installation was pretty standard and I had no problems installing it. Fit and functionality were where this device failed miserably. First, the removable faceplate (the '90s demanded and wanted it back) protrudes a full inch or more, which is not only ugly but actually blocks other functionality on the actuator plates. Believe it or not, that wasn't the deciding factor for me. The real hurdle is that the interface is very slow. Not only do apps take forever to launch, but physical controls like the volume rocker lag to the point where they're unusable. For example, turning the volume knob doesn't change the volume for more than 10 seconds, even when the screen is collapsed. This makes it impossible to simply adjust the volume, which is the most basic function.
