Review on πŸ’ͺ Enhance Performance with the 0-140 PSI Universal Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator Kit With Gauge Hose in Sleek Black Design by Jim Cox

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works well for my application

I use this to set the built in electric pump for use as a suction pump (feeding fuel to the injection pump on a diesel engine. The pressure setting is 24psi measured at the injection pump I have I put a "T" where the stock return line meets the fuel tank and routed the regulator return line there. I had no trouble mounting the regulator next to the pump. I used an elbow to adapt the bracket that came with it lower truck cab designs I put a "T" on the pump outlet line to connect it to the regulator inlet fitting I used a 5/16" Gates fuel line and screw clamps stamped with the included hose and clamps I used the supplied hose for the return as there was almost no pressure is in. the small sensor fitting is thus just open to the atmosphere. According to previous reviews, I resealed the threaded connections on the n-regulator prior to installation and had no leaks. There was sealant on the threads so the previous review may no longer be accurate. I have found that all fittings are 1/8" BSP (British Standard Pipe, Tapered). So if you are going to replace fittings you will need this thread. American NPT threads are different and NPT fittings will not fit and will likely leak The only flaw was that the pressure gauge read nothing but 0. I set the pressure at a different point so it didn't matter.
