Cheap leaking piece of shit

Car finally started, had to stop immediately. It fired a stream of gas from a vacuum line and adjustment screw. Leak around 4 bolts. I disassembled it to seal it but the piston was broken inside and wouldn't let any fuel through. Terrible product. I will not buy another. Don't waste your time with a cheap device. Save money and buy a quality device. You get what you pay for I guess. It's terrible. The attached video shows the fuel pressure regulator flowing.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Compatibility

Universal and fully adjustable

This is a fuel pressure regulator for those who are mechanically minded. After receiving the item, I took inventory of all the tools and materials provided. Concluded that a device where the manufacturer uses FPR would not work with my application. So I swapped a few things, bent the mounting plate to the right size and mounted it flawlessly. Remember that this FPR is sent to you at 0-PSI. After installation, configure according to the manufacturer's recommendations/system requirements.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Doesn't work as advertised or at all.

I ordered it at the lower end of the scale. I immediately noticed that it was of poor quality. The block didn't work at all. No matter how I adjusted it, the pressure never changed. The sensor always reads below zero PSI. I used another pressure gauge after the block to find that it doesn't give any pressure at all. Regulator removed from line and pressure was the same. Put it back in and release the pressure and it's the same as not being in the line at all. Absolutely useless. Lost my money…

Paid $18, cost about $12

This is NOT a fuel pressure regulator! mechanical adjustment and vacuum do not reduce idle pressure. If you adjust the pressure at idle with the vacuum off, the pressure will not be adjusted when you turn the vacuum back on. I set it at 48psi and it stays at 48 from idle to WOT. Fuel lines and clamps are so cheap they're dangerous. Do not use the supplied clamps and fuel lines! If all you want is constant fuel pressure, this will work. If you are looking for something that regulates fuel…

  • Not automatic

NO LESS THAN 30

Very happy with it so far. I tested on a vacuum pad. I will melt once I have my fuel pump and I can verify that it can actually do 140psi. Check out the pictures to see exactly what is included in the kit. One thing I want to make sure and know is that the sensor is actually tilted a little to the left when it arrives, which means the assembly line, whoever fitted it, didn't check it properly before it died left factory so gets four out of five because they are normally checked after assembly…

Read my review. Contain important information.

looks good and works well. A few things that weren't explained though. Be sure to remove all fittings except the vacuum and apply sealant to them. Also, use some sealant and a factory o-ring on the part that attaches to the fuel rail. If you don't, it will leak. All the fittings were leaking until I sealed them. Also use other clips as they are very easy to remove. Adjust it too, using the Allen key provided in the kit, loosen the nut with 9/16 or 14mm, then use the Allen key on top of the…

Pretty simple but works great.

So far so good. The cover that holds the pressure adjustment can be rotated by removing the socket head screws to position the vacuum signal port to point towards the vacuum signal reference line. A plumbing diagram would be nice, but from other reviews I've gathered that the port opposite the gauge is the pressure side going to the fuel rail and the port opposite the pressure regulator (bottom) is the return. Also, the return requires a tee to connect the return from both the FPR and the fuel…

Works well for my application

I use this to set the built in electric pump for use as a suction pump (feeding fuel to the injection pump on a diesel engine. The pressure setting is 24psi measured at the injection pump I have I put a "T" where the stock return line meets the fuel tank and routed the regulator return line there. I had no trouble mounting the regulator next to the pump. I used an elbow to adapt the bracket that came with it lower truck cab designs I put a "T" on the pump outlet line to connect it to the…
