Review on πŸ“· Logitech C920 960-000767 HD Pro Webcam - USB Interface by Wiktor Niemiec ᠌

Bad! I am not satisfied with the quality of the product.

The biggest letdown of the year! purchased to replace a worn-out C615 camera. The colors are more realistic, and the image is now crisper. Although it works every other time, autofocus is still beneficial. But the audio quality is terrible. Why install a stereo microphone if it is inferior to the one on the more affordable C615 model? And given that the C920 is an older model, how did it even come about? The speech sounds odd, muffled like a barrel, and is perceived by interlocutors worse than on the previous camera since the microphone has a high bias in low frequencies but genuinely has none in the upper range. Yes, it is denser and more saturated than in C615, but what good is it if the listener has to endure muttering instead of clear speech? Generally speaking, Logitech, this is my final purchase from you and a tremendous letdown. You should be embarrassed to use the word "PRO" in the model name, if I were you. PS: When I returned it to the shop, they said the microphone was broken and gave me my money back after an inspection. Okay, there was a major issue with my copy. But I made the decision to read through several evaluations in order to select a different webcam, and lo and behold. The C920 consistently combines the audio of other Logitech cameras, including less expensive ones, in all reviews. There are worse microphones than the C920, therefore this does not imply that it has the poorest microphone available. The sound that will suit your interview subjects and match the camera level, however, is unquestionably not this. I might still purchase another Logitech camera, but I can only suggest the C920 to people who won't be using the built-in microphone at all.

Pros
  • 1. A good, clear image 2. Gorgeous exterior
Cons
  • 1. The part has awful sound quality and no lighting for the camera. 2. Subpar autofocus results
