I bought a Stromberg Carlson JSC24IND scissor jack (0147.2012) to make a lift for my motorcycle. worked fine Use a 3/8 impact hammer drill to raise and lower it with a 3/4 socket like I do for the jack stands on my trailer. The price was right for my purposes, the threaded rod that moves the jack was already lubricated with oil, I added some silicone grease to be safe and it runs light and fast. Many of these types of jacks warn users not to use power tools to operate them and even have ends that require a special grip. This is very reliable and will work well for the intended application.
