The width of the divider has been a lifesaver for my bunion. Wearing them in my shoes is no problem. But Why did they make the thing that goes over your toe for bizarrely small? They show pics of people putting it on their big toe - there is no way. It will cut circulation off within seconds and turn your toe purple. I have to stretch the thing out by putting it on a highlighter marker for several weeks - then wear on my 2nd toe where it is still uncomfortable for the first few days until it stretches out. I need to wear these even at night and cannot wear a brand new one overnight for the first week, so keep the old one on hand to switch it out. If they could just make that stupid thing a little bigger it would save everyone grief.
