Great product that was easy to install. Used it with a pendant light above the dining table. Things to note (1) Difficult to paint due to the amount of detail and urethane finish. Spray paint is highly recommended. I tried a few colors with the brush to match the light and it came out awful so I just painted two coats of ultra white matte paint (2). It's very light and it might be tempting to use a light canopy to support it. I would suggest putting construction glue on the back if you want to install it that way. (3) The medallion does not sit flush against the ceiling as I have a popcorn ceiling. A small gap was left which made it seem odd and out of place. I filled the gap with white caulk to match the color of the medallion and it looked like part of the ceiling. Due to the many curves on the edge, smooth the seal with your finger before it hardens.
