I use this with a Smartish case. It's a great addition that makes the phone feel really secure to just swipe with one hand or send text messages. The glue is very strong. My case is a wallet and I was afraid it would be too bulky, but it isn't and it works great. This is my third different model phone that I have a Smartish case for and I can't believe I've never seen or tried it before, love it so much! The only thing to note is that with the wallet version the phone doesn't really stand up horizontally (for watching videos) if you center it to avoid card holes as it's not properly positioned to support the weight . This isn't a problem for me, but if you want to prop it up horizontally, be sure to find the right spot to prop it up.
