Review on 🔧 Enhance Engine Efficiency with Motorcraft EC-781 Standard Oil Filler Breather Cap by Sean Zamora

I have an 03 f350 with a 6.0L engine, my hfcm cover (fuel filter/pump assembly on the driver's side frame rail) has a broken plastic nut and I needed a new one. I've searched the entire web for ap/n and found nothing. Eventually I stumbled across a forum that said the oil filter cap is the same as the hfcm cap from 6.0. So I bought it, it threads well, no leaks, 40 Nm (18.5 ft/lb) of torque on the cap matches the instructions for installing the fuel filter, conveniently the same as the oil filter cap specs. It comes with a black o-ring for the oil filter assembly, which will probably work fine, but if you have it separately you're probably changing the filters anyway, so they come with the correct green o-ring. I would caution against either buying an oil filter head for these caps or at least using a 36mm hex head. Don't use a 12 point as they will gradually round the plastic.
