These have to be some of the best magnets I've ever had. If the description says "pin magnets" they are really close to real pushpins. However, they have very strong magnets, unlike many fridge magnets that are designed to hold paper. In testing, one of these magnets easily held 7 folds of paper (including 4 thicker cards). Another sheet of paper tripled in size and these magnets began to lose their magnetism through the paper. Overall I am very happy with these magnets.
