The correct part number is the correct part.
Ordered a 3 inch PVC vent fitting. Not sure how it should fit. Contacted Revain and said it was the wrong item. A new one was sent but it was the same part. asked if it was the right number. Send a picture of the flange and they replied that it is. I don't know how to get a 1.625" hole to pull on a 3" PVC pipe with a 3.5" OD. It would be nice if the diameter of the hole was indicated for the firmware. It would help avoid this problem. Don't risk putting the correct part number on the roof if the part itself is wrong. Cut a new hole in the roof and install a new flange from a local hardware store. Tried not to cut a hole in the roof.
