Makes the door more secure

I have processed the door frame so that it does not interfere with the opening and closing of the door. It's very safe. We love both the fit and the finish of the material. It replaces a tiny slide lock/latch which probably doesn't offer any real security considering how small the screws were. This lock uses 3 inch screws that go through the jamb and into the bolt. The only complaint comes from my wife, who says it's harder to open/close. You should be aware that this takes a bit of effort, but the extra security is well worth it. I think.
