Review on ๐Ÿฅซ Efficient Canning Scoop by Prepworks: Your Perfect Food Preservation Tool by Original Mansel

Highly recommended as a versatile kitchen ladle.

I buy kitchen appliances after doing some research. Sometimes I'm disappointed, but not this time. This ladle is designed and sold as a canning ladle, not a canning ladle. That's because it's an ugly, handy, and ergonomic tool for taking every bit of thin soup out of the pot in big, even batches and pouring it into a smaller vessel without spilling it. It's intended for efficient, but probably not stylish, cooks who need to repeat this process consistently and without spills for hundreds of consecutive operations. On the other hand, regular ladles are almost hemispherical spoons with a right-angled twist from the bowl to the handle. . They have a spout neck, but are often oblique. Using them allows you to pull your visual memory and instantly access the sight of the soup running down the underside of the lip after pouring. If you frequently make soups, stews, curries, and appetizers, this is an inexpensive tool that you'll likely find useful. Cons: It's clunky and unsightly. The maker could create them from onyx, cobalt and jade and greatly increase his income. Pros: This is the best ladle I've ever used for serving cup or bowl sized portions when I get back in the kitchen and no one can see how ugly it is. The pointed tip scoops all but a few tablespoons off the bottom of a tilted pan. The built in pan holder mount on the side works like no other spoon holder. The silicone construction makes it indestructible so you can securely attach it to your cooking pot. And the giant scoop size means you can serve cup- or bowl-sized portions with 1 or 2 scoops instead of 4 or 8. One technical detail I like is that if you want to serve half a scoop, the golden mean of the scoop curve makes intuitively clear what half a scoop is. It cannot be washed in the dishwasher. I've had mine for 6 months and have done dozens of sanitary rinses in my overheated dishwasher and it washes clean with no discoloration, warping or brittleness (as you see with nylon). This is a super tool. for those who value functionality and performance. Calphalon or Kitchen-Aid might be selling a nice version of this tool for $35 and probably will soon.
