Review on πŸ”§ Lisle 46950 Relay Puller Pliers: Efficient Tool for Relay Extraction by Dustin Woodrow

Revainrating 3 out of 5

QC is not satisfied with jaw pullers

I always prefer Lisle to other similar unnamed tools made in China, although most Lisle products are also made in China. The reason is that their SPEC is usually slightly higher. Right for this tool (relay removal pliers) with two layers of soft insulation on the handle. The reason for 3 stars is insufficient quality control. I bought 2 of these devices. 1 is better than the other. The 2nd had fingers bent and misaligned to grab the relay. There were NO delivery problems. Not returned, ready to use immediately. I was able to bend the curved finger back "flat" for decent functionality. Lisle always asks for a small surcharge, which is usually worthwhile for the constant quality control. But this time they get an "error". Come on, Lyle, don't ruin your reputation; Have your quality controllers "recycle" real defects instead of sending defects to the buyer (in the pursuit of greedy profit). We mechanics, the hand that feeds you are watching!
