I noticed that this splitter has a long neck adapter that doesn't fit well, like trying to pry out of the cigarette lighter socket. Other reviewers are right about that. But other than that, it's a solid product. In fact, I place truck manufacturers where I use them. Outlets are never deep enough, not like they used to be. To be honest someone mentioned direct wiring in the cable itself - I did it on my ram truck and it's a good move. Otherwise, swap out the mouthpiece for a dual USB socket - it's pretty much a direct replacement. For everyone else, I found the backlash to be a mild annoyance. They melt after they go bad and then melt the inside of the cigarette holder - so stay away from them - especially the triceps.
