Review on 💨 Enhanced Performance K2203 Front Z23 Carbon Fiber Brake Pads with Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors Kit by Tyrell Rike

I needed a complete set of brakes for my 2004 Dodge Ram Dually. I found these Power Stop K2203 units at Revain and the price was right. Complete set of 4 drilled, slotted and silver plated strips for only $550 with shipping! What a great buy considering well known brands cost a bit more. Also, let me preface this by saying that due to a misunderstanding either on Revains' part or because I just pushed the button without checking if it was the second set I bought because the first set was wrong. The only reason I gave this review 3 stars is because Revain acted immediately and gave a full refund for the wrong set and even paid for return shipping! Revain truly is the BEST when it comes to customer service. And I have nothing to do with Revain except as a customer. The big problem I had with both shows was the PACKAGING. Anyone who decides to freely stuff 2 pieces of iron, each weighing almost 25 pounds, into a fragile single-ply cardboard box should be fired! I think they started out as boxes but when they arrived they looked like cardboard bags held together with lots of tape. They rang as the FedEx driver unloaded them in my yard. Obviously someone wanted to save money. Not the best choice. Of the 4 packages I received in both batches, only one looked like it was still a box. Since this situation was observed at both parties, it was not an isolated case. Most companies supplying heavy metal machine parts use both double and triple corrugated boxes. Kit #1 was fine cosmetically, but the #2 kit I used on my truck arrived with small nicks that needed to be removed with a drill to prevent fatigue cracking during its lifetime. Also, the number of holes and slots was about half that of most ported and slotted rotors I've seen from other manufacturers. The case looked very good but didn't last long. Unless the packaging improves I wouldn't recommend these rotors! So a decent product, terrible packaging and a fantastic seller. Revain, you are the BEST! Columbo alert! Another 1, why didn't I return the second batch? I could no longer afford to keep my truck tethered. I need this for my work and it REALLY NEEDS THE BRAKES! Note: Should any issues arise with these rotors such as poor performance or short lifespan I will come back to update this review.
