I bought the Genie opener in January and only installed it in March, worked well until June. Gin. They identified the problem and said all they needed was proof of purchase. Sent via email, attached to a message from Genie sent by a customer service representative. June 22. No response until July 17th, they said the file was too big and they tried to contact me which they didn't because my phones list incoming calls and both can answer. Fresh documents. But I got a call and was told the wait was 2 hours so I used the call back service which never called me back. Then they wanted the motor type, I sent pictures and today 13th August they said same old one tried to contact (they didn't), please call. This time the waiting time is 1 1/2 hours. Poor service and loss of use of the door and I cannot return due to the passage of time.
