Review on OZCO 56607 Laredo Sunset Post by Kenny Hrdlicka

This Fortress/Ozco product looks good and probably works well, but has not been tested by the local Building Inspectorate. He requested documentation that the product was compatible with the code since he had never seen the product in action before. A perfectly reasonable concern for structural integrity. Ozco/Fortress/Engineering Express was unable to email me evidence of compliance. Engineering Express charged $30 for a "sealed" copy. This makes the product prohibitively expensive. If I don't get proof of structural compliance with the code, I may need to replace all railings with a Simpson support system. A very, very expensive problem!
