I bought this collar because I thought it would be a lot easier to put on and take off. However, you must make it tight enough to get good contact. it's not that easy to close it. Maybe if you have a thicker-necked, smooth-coated dog like a stocky Labrador. However, my dog is 45 lbs and partially husky and not easy to pull her hair on. Also, she has a thinner neck like a Border Collie, so I had to adjust this collar with metal bars to make it smaller. Bungee + clip + clasp on a collar made it difficult. It's cute because it's red. Did it cost $30? no And the metal loops you see are only needed to hold the strap in a horizontal position. They cannot be used on a leash. I tried, and one of them broke in half and threw a retractable line at me. Just a warning to everyone else.
