came with no instructions but tried to use the device anyway. When it was connected to the battery the LED light came on and I assumed it was normal. When I plugged it into the OBD socket the device beeped continuously not knowing if it was normal or a fault but left it plugged in and tried to change the car battery anyway. I paid attention to the polarity and connected + to + and - to -. After putting my new battery in, I still had to use my code to unlock and reset the radio. My car has automatic seats to adjust it to my driving position, but I still had to reprogram it. After all the effort to keep the save settings, this didn't work as intended. It is necessary to send instructions with this item so that you know if it works properly or not. I am returning this item. Very disappointing.
