Washes very well when I use 3 capsules for each load, which are not very large loads. So if you follow the instructions and use less, you won't get a clean output. I agree that GHE skis. Doesn't melt easily so I break them when I fill the tank before putting the rags in, otherwise they'll stick to the rags before melting and ruining the rags. So that may apply to other pods, but I haven't used any other brands. I wish it had a nice smell, but then it would be a lot more expensive. Such a low price but if you use enough pads it cleans even better than Tide. Andy uses a lot of Tide soap and it cleans better!
