Excellent replacement - like new
The fit and finish of this fairing piece is excellent. This particular part is not that easy to replace as removing the old one actually requires breaking the old one. In other words, once it snaps into place, it stays there (until you want to break the next one). This is only a problem if you haven't set all the control knobs (especially the 4-point mirror adjustment) absolutely correctly before locking. This is not a problem caused by this part, it is simply a design obstacle by BMW. You will definitely need a set of plastic car interior tools.
