This is the ideal size for 1.5-2" dome tubes. The balls are larger than most I've used in the past and fit snugly within the fabric panels of the canopy.I highly recommend them.They came in a pack of 100 and I used every last one so I had nothing left but the job was done..At first I thought they were being gnawed on by squirrels or other critters but then I noticed the frayed ones on the canopy poles which fell off when I touched them.They look nice but are actually fragile.I removed 12 of them easily and expect them all to fail.I do not recommend buying this product .
