The 3.5mm end of this Planttonics adapter comes loose where the wires attach to the terminal post, causing static electricity after about 6 months careful use will develop.I have started adding a strain relief loop to the wire up to this weak point, time will tell if this improves durability. I also buy at least two at a time as a backup because of this weakness. I spoke to a technical rep from Poly (the new name of Plantronics) who stated that they were not aware of this weakness and did not confirm any warranty. I would recommend an alternative brand as poly works well but is short lived.
