Review on Efficient and Reliable Motorcraft YH-1779 Blend Door Actuator Motor: A Comprehensive Review by Pius Aponte

Worked great in my wife's 2010 Ford Flex SE to fix the broken original engine. I've heard of dealers offering hundreds of dollars to fix this motor. It really couldn't be easier. Lower the glove box door, remove the two screws and wire harness and replace the part. All that is required is a wrench (a flashlight might come in handy). I would recommend changing the cabin air filter while you are there as it is only a few inches from where you work. All in all, the repair cost me the cheap price of the part (less than $20 at the time of purchase) and less than 10 minutes of my repair time.
