I bought this light primarily for camping/fishing at night. So far I’m extremely happy. The light is rechargeable via USB which eliminates the need for batteries. It comes with a normal headlamp strap for when it isn’t put on a hat but I always wear it on my hat. The clip that holds it onto the hat is it rigid and it hasn’t fallen off even when moving around a lot. It’s also extremely bright with a flood and spotlight mode (and a high/low function for each). The only negative I’ve encountered is that the battery life isn’t great. I’ll get about one nights use out of it when camping before it dies on me which was somewhat annoying due to our limited charging capability.
