I bought this light primarily for camping/fishing at night. So far I’m extremely happy. The light is rechargeable via USB which eliminates the need for batteries. It comes with a normal headlamp strap for when it isn’t put on a hat but I always wear it on my hat. I bought mine in December 2020 and it works well for the price. Mine sees heavy use and it's starting to fall apart. The rubber that covers the buttons on the top to turn it on and off fell off after about 4 months, but the switch still works. The switch is starting to go out now and I have to press the button several times to turn it on and off, but again, it sees very heavy use. Works in cold, hot, etc. It's light weight, so it doesn't pull your hat down when it's clipped. It's bright enough…

Motion detection is weird, and the clip feels like it will break eventually, but it's what I needed at a decent price. That's my feedback.

Last week our dog suddenly went blind (about 70%) due to her diabetic condition. With her limited vision she does much better at night if I give her a bright light to follow and help guide her. So far so good.

I use it when working on my car. The light is very bright and they charge holds well, plus I never have to buy batteries for it!

I use these for hunting season and so far work great. I like the fact that you have multiple options on light configurations. The back part of the light switch controls flood options, the front part of the switch controls the spot light options. Also the motion option worked well.

I use this when walking my dog in the dark. Gives me a free hand to clean up his business. BUT the rechargeable battery after just a few weeks would only hold a charge for a VERY short time, like 30 minutes, and then need to be recharged. It’s been returned and a replacement sent. Replacement also needs to be recharged after a very short time.

Rechargeable caplamps have one very good attribute: no extra batteries to buy. That being said, you must have the opportunity to recharge it, or you're without a caplamp. I use rechargeable ones at home to get about after lights out. It's easier on the spouse and less energizing to the dogs if I don't flip on an overhead or a table lamp whenever I need the facilities or a drink, but I don't want to trip, either. This light lamp fits very conveniently on the bill of your cap and provides the proper amount of brightness to get things accomplished when darkness sets in. The battery lasts quite long before charging is needed. I recommend it.

I wore the mini Cree led clip on cap light on a 21.1k (13.1 miles) run. I clipped it to my visor's brim so it was underneath since it was a bit misty (kept it drier.) It provided ample light through the pre dawn half of my run, part of which was through some dark trails, then I turned it off. I forgot it was there and I didn't get a headache from a headband style light. Exactly what I needed.

I really love how small and easy to use the light is. I'm a jack of all trades and this light really helps when I need a extra light. And it's easy to charge as well, just plug in the USB charger and it doesn't take very long to get a good charge.

Love this little guy. I do deliveries for food companies and around where I live sometimes at night its hard to see address on house either they don't have or it's in hard place to find. I bought these to clip on my wool cap to feed livestock when I get home after work. They are nice and bright. The only downside is the charge doesn’t last as long as I thought it would have. Single digit temperatures could play a part in the battery life. I will let you know later.The other thing is that there is no warning that your battery is low. All of a sudden you are in the dark. Because it came with two lights I just rotate them regularly and I haven’t been in the dark since 😉

The light shut off without warning leaving me in the dark. Usually, a flashlight will grow dim as a warning, this one just QUIT!I needed a new cap light, it's bright and handy for the job.I had one that swiveled so I could hang it from my tee shirt collar or belt when needed.I think a better, safer light can be found.

The light meets my expectations. The product seems to have a good value. The problem that I see is the clip design. My light arrived with a broken clip and judging by the place it was broken, it think that the clip has a design flaw.
