I bought mine in December 2020 and it works well for the price. Mine sees heavy use and it's starting to fall apart. The rubber that covers the buttons on the top to turn it on and off fell off after about 4 months, but the switch still works. The switch is starting to go out now and I have to press the button several times to turn it on and off, but again, it sees very heavy use. Works in cold, hot, etc. It's light weight, so it doesn't pull your hat down when it's clipped. It's bright enough for working on cars at night. The battery life is good as well, lasts for about a week without recharging for me, and I use it about 3 hours per day, 4 days per week. I'm about to buy another one cuz mine is cooked lol
