I set up the controller identically to another working controller. (same connections etc.). I connected the solar panel and battery in series with the battery using the power meter. The charge controller shows that the solar system is connected to the battery, but no current is flowing to the battery. I connected it to another charge controller and got 2.5A charging current from the 50W panel. The time difference is less than 1 minute. I have DOA. Pay attention to the quality control in this case.
