Review on πŸ’‘ AVAWO DC 24V15A 360W Power Supply for LED Strip Light, CCTV, Radio, Computer Project - Efficient and Regulated by Matthew Richards

Revainrating 5 out of 5

DIED IN LESS THAN A WEEK

EDIT #2 Seller called me back 24 hours later and offered to refund or resend without mentioning that the negative rating has been removed. So that's a big plus. (and since they didn't ask me to, I'm increasing my rating from a run to three) Of course I opted for a refund, but it's really great to have such quick and helpful customer service. If only they could offer a better product now. EDIT: A component in the power supply blew out after 5 days of very light use. complete and utter rubbish - stay away from the seller/company. Old tip: The PSU will work and output the correct voltage, but the fan will not turn on no matter how you run the PSU, no matter how long you run it, or how hot the components get. I worked on mine for 12 hours, heating a 12" x 12" heated bed to 75 degrees on a 3D printer. The lining worked but after an hour it got VERY warm and the cooling fan never turned on. I'm not sure if it's an incorrectly connected fan or a problem with the thermistor or something else. I just replaced the fan with an externally controlled fan to fix this issue, but I don't expect this stock to last very long anyway. If you plan to use this p/s with no modifications I would look elsewhere for a reliable power supply.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something
