Screws cut best in post assembled mailboxes
Two of the four built in screws/bolts were sheared off during the installation of this adapter. I hand tightened the nuts and they just fell off. It seems to me that the quality of screws, nuts and bolts is poor. Since this bracket is designed to hold mailboxes securely, including lockable mailboxes, it should hold up better or people might just snap the mailbox off I think. The photo shows where two of the four screws are broken.
