Review on π« Efficient Coating with Astro 4538 Economy Air Undercoat Gun by Doug Hinrichsen
I used it to paint the bottom of a trailer.
Used to spray the underside of my car trailer with 3M 08864 Body Protection Rubberized Coating Black. The key to spraying this substance is a very good mix. The first time I didn't, it jammed the gun. I also thinned it by topping up the bottles with lacquer thinner, although I don't think it was needed for the gun. Even diluted, I couldn't get it to spray out of this gun with the 3M primer hose attached. He went about 1/2 up the pipe and then pounded it.
