Review on 🔴 Pyrex Prepware 1-Cup Measuring Cup: Transparent with Vibrant Red Measurements by Brandon Vox

I never thought I would be reviewing something as versatile and basic as a measuring cup, especially from Pyrex which is a household name (and as far as I know the only common maker of them in all of life ). Yes, this is a one cup measuring cup - this means the measuring lines can only be used for one cup. But it holds more than two cups of water! That means the extra space it takes up on your shelf is wasted. And it really is worse than it looks - because it's so wide and you can't stack anything on top of it, it takes up a lot of space. And the extra width makes it harder to use -- much harder to measure accurately with such a wide measuring cup. (Think geometry - pi r squared etc - it's harder by a "squared" amount - chemistry labs don't use tall, narrow things to measure things for no reason). So. It's hard to use, takes up a lot of wasted space when not in use, and looks odd in this form. Why can't they sell the small one cup measuring cup I had before?
