I like Pyrex containers. Have been using them for many years. They are durable. The quality has improved over the years. Few of them have broken in recent years, some from a hard blow, which is understandable. In general, I assume glassware breaks somewhere during the manufacturing process. Compared to all brands I've used, Pyrex is more durable. The eyelids are open. needs to be replaced. Although they are washed before being put in the rinse water, they tend to retain the smell of food, especially garlic and spices. I've had them for over 20 years. I will buy them again if needed. Plain lids are better, latches and vents don't last long.
