Received a replacement. My old kettle was smaller but heavier. Lasts longer but is lighter. No annoying thumb button to keep the spout open for pouring! The spout lid is tilted backwards for easy pouring while holding a hot kettle. Pipe? I hear it behind the house. I am very happy with it and recommend it to everyone.
