I bought this stand to put the AirTag in the neoprene case of my prescription sunglasses. As per the description of this project I think the adhesive material holder will not be enough to stick to the neoprene fabric and as per the suggestion of another leader of this project I need to request an additional adhesive holder to stick securely with my sunglasses. It turns out this is true. After applying epoxy to the mount and letting it sit, it looks like I now have a good solution for my needs. The silicone has cushioned the AirTag so there shouldn't be any issues or potential damage if the AirTag collides with my sunglasses. If this setup doesn't work, I'll update this review. Otherwise, I recommend everyone to protect their optical investment!
