nothing but static, I bought them for my brother's birthday ie September 19th. I didn't use it until he opened it and we went on our moose hunt. The radio heard nothing but static. We ended up using a 20 year old kit that worked better than this. Now the return is overdue and I'm stuck with a couple of radios that don't work. I've been a Motorola radio user all my life and I've never had this problem. Now I can't go back and now I have to pay a price that doesn't make me happy and now I will look for other brands to use better quality ones.
