it's Dimensions, so as long as you know what you're getting yourself into.

the finished work looks better than the picture which is a plus. The chart was easy to understand with clear symbols. its smaller size also makes it good for a beginner. What I didn't like was that the threads are glued into the thread organizer and not the "loop" type holder; You want to cut them off and put them on yourself. Another dislike for me is that I personally find Dimensions threads to snap more than other brands of kits or DMC threads. I haven't figured out yet if that really is something wrong with their yarn or maybe I need to do something different to prepare it compared to what I do with other brands. all I know is I don't have much confusion with other threads. Tangles = annoying back mess and/or extra time to stop and untangle it. Frequently double-checking my work helps avoid a lot of this, but it's still annoying to me and just something to look out for when buying Dimensions. There are also mixed colors, which I don't like in Dimensions either. but with this particular design it didn't bother me too much because only 2 or 3 characters had to be mixed and only 1 skein of each color. I would be lying if I said I love everything about them. giggle
