Review on 🎯 Enhanced Dimensional Accuracy of TIANSE Filament Printer by David Edwards

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Filament is not plug-n-play / requires extensive customization

I am using an Ender 3 Pro with a bondtech cloned extruder with heated glass platform. Washable glue is used for gluing. Retract at 6.5mm Retract speed at 20mm/s This was one of the most difficult PLAs to specify print diameters. It's also extremely finicky, meaning certain time settings may work just fine one day but not another day. For reasons unknown, it was the Prusaslicer that bothered my printer the most with its default cleaning feature. Cura does a similar function, but cutting with Cura caused a lot more of the weird hair artifacts seen in the photo. (Part of the image is cropped in Prusaslicer. Hairiness was worse on Cura). My temp setting is now 210-220 with filament. Oddly enough, the 230 printed properly at certain times, but didn't like such temperatures anymore. It's also worth noting that the filament is extremely brittle. The filament has broken more than 3 times (and I just started using this spool!). I also had to adjust the tension in the extruder a few times to counteract the filament's brittleness. If you know how to bypass the settings to calibrate them properly, do so. If done right, it will make a beautiful orange that I'm ambivalent about (if only it wasn't so hard to type with!)
